What To Do If You are Worried
In school children learn that there are lots of things they can do and people they can speak to if they have any worries or concerns.
What we encourage the children to do if they’re worried:
• Talk to people at home - parents, grandparents, friends or relatives.
• Talk about things with your friends.
• Talk to a teacher or a teaching assistant in their class.
• Talk to other staff like lunch staff and people in the office
• Mrs Tremain, Mrs Daines, Mrs Veal and Mrs Irons are always available to listen and help.
• We have a worry box in school. You can write down the worry and put it in the box with your name on. Someone will come and find you to discuss the note.
• Children also learn about Childline 0800 1111. They also have an online message board where you can search for advice from people with similar problems.
Adults can also
• Send an email to schooloffice@maldenmanor.rbksch.org
• If you’re worried then please find someone you can trust to tell your problem to.
• Make a phone call to SPA or the LADO:
